Objectives Of YRC
- To inculcate in the Youth of our country an awareness on the care of their own health and that of others
- The understanding and acceptance of civic responsibilities and acting accordingly with humanitarian concern, to fulfill the same
- To enable the growth and development of a spirit of service and sense of duty with dedication and devotion in the minds of youth
- To foster better friendly relationship with all without any discrimination
Objectives of NSS
- Understand the community in which they work
- Understand themselves in relation to their community
- Identify the needs and problems in the community in the solution of which they can be involved
- Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
- Apply their education in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems
- Develop competence required for group living and sharing responsibilities
- Gain skills in mobilizing community participation
- Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude
- Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters
- Practice national integration
